Facts:
-a Koala Bear means"one who doesn't drink"
-a koala doesn't drink water;it gets all it's nutriton
from eucalyptus leaves and soil.
-Koalas are Marsupials. They carry thier young in a pouch.
-Koala's have 5 fingers, but 2 thumbs!

Donna has a friend who just left today for Australia, and he loves the outback, and getting close to the animals. I hope he gets to find out more about koalas. thank you for the suggestions of how I can help the animals. I will try to do my part. Love you!!!
This is great Olivia - I didn't know koalas had 2 thumbs!! They'd be good at hitch hiking!! :) I guess it's important for us to take care of those eucalyptus trees and the australian soil. Thanks for making us aware of this.
